Application

Ready to use. Do not thin. Stir well before use. Final colour will depend upon the timber's condition and number of coats applied. Ensure timber moisture content is below 15%. Application temperature: 5℃ - 35°C. Don't use in damp conditions (when relative humidity is above 85%), or if rain or dew is likely before finish is dry. If using more than one can, it is advisable to mix them together in a larger container for colour consistency. For use on sanded (or seasoned / porous), washed, dry bare wood only. Avoid heavy wear and tear on the decking for a few days after application. Apply 2 coats evenly with a good quality brush along the grain, avoiding overlaps. Allow at least 12 hours between coats. For high UV exposure areas or extra porous timbers, an optional third coat may be applied. Approximately 30 minutes after the application of the third coat, any excess surface oil should be wiped off with a clean rag to ensure a smooth matt finish. This step must be completed before the surface gets tacky.
